SoqRasi Mourad GHAFIRI

The background is a field of 4,160 small squares: 52 weeks for each of 80 years, one human life.

We get about 4,000 weeks. I’m Mourad GHAFIRI. I’d like to spend mine building what I love, in the open and in peace.

It stays in your browser. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Each column is a year. Each square is a week.

Soq market Rasi my head

Soq Rasi is a Moroccan Darija idiom. Word for word: the market of my head. Said out loud, it means: my own business.

Every head is a small market. Ideas come in, get turned over, and some of them get built. I keep mine open for ideas and closed to noise: no hype, no drama, no headaches borrowed from other people’s business.

It works both ways. I don’t carry my noise into your market either.

Life is too short to carry other people’s business.

We have one life. Live it, dream, and build what you like.

What I build, in public.

The ideas, the drafts, and the releases happen in the open. Follow along wherever you like to read.

  • Software products

From a first sketch to a shipped product.

  • AI & machine learning

Models and agents doing useful, quiet work.

  • Data systems

Pipelines and platforms that move data without drama.

  • Open source

Tools and libraries, shared freely on GitHub.

  • Mobile apps

Apps for iOS and Android that feel at home on each.

  • Websites

Fast, calm sites. You are on one of them.

No headache. Both ways.

I’m open to working with people and companies. The arrangement is simple: I won’t be your headache, and you won’t be mine.

From me

  • A clear scope, written down before any code.
  • Honest estimates, and early word if they change.
  • Updates on a rhythm we agree on. You never have to chase.
  • A plain no when something isn’t a fit.
  • Finished work, documented and handed over cleanly.

From you

  • A clear problem, and one person who can decide.
  • Respect for the agreed scope and time.
  • Feedback in one place, not five.
  • No “urgent” that isn’t.
  • Payment on the terms we agreed.

Sounds like your kind of work?

This week is the one you have.

Give it to what matters to you: the idea you keep returning to, the work you’d be proud of, the people who make life lighter. Tend your own path with care, and trust others to tend theirs. If working together is part of yours, I’d be glad to hear from you.
